When you arrive at Nationaltheatret Station, follow the signs for “Exit Parkveien / Henrik Ibsens gate.”
This exit is located at the west end of the platform and leads you out to the back side of Slottsparken (the Royal Palace Park).

This is the exit on the back side of Slottsparken, closest to Løkkeveien and Parkveien 62.

When you reach street level, you will see the roundabout at Løkkeveien directly in front of you.
Cross the pedestrian crossing at the roundabout, and you will find Parkveien 62 just across on the other side.

From the train platform, follow the same west exit toward Henrik Ibsens gate / Slottsparken.

No, Maya Apartments is a contactless concept without a staffed reception. You can always reach us by phone or email if you need assistance during your stay.

Check-in is keyless and fully self-service. You will receive door codes for the main entrance and your apartment by SMS and/or email before arrival. The codes are automatically activated from 3:00 PM on the day of check-in.

Standard Check-out Time:
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
After this time, your door code will be automatically deactivated.

How to Check Out:

• Check-out is fully self-service – you do not need to meet anyone.

• Follow the instructions provided for your specific apartment/address.

• Close the door behind you when leaving – the door locks automatically.

• Make sure to take all personal belongings and dispose of any trash in the waste room at the property.

• You do not need to return any keys – the door code will stop working after check-out.

Late Check-out:
If you wish to have a late check-out, please request it in advance.
Approval depends on availability and may involve an additional fee.
We will confirm as soon as we know if it is possible.

Yes, towels, bed linen, and final cleaning are included in your stay.

Pets are generally not allowed, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Yes, all our apartments have a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Please note: Hair dryers are not provided at Kasjotten, Skjettenveien 44.

🔹 How do I make it work?
Plug the cable into the socket above the mirror, and make sure the mirror light is turned on. Then switch on the main button on the hair dryer. Please see the attached image for guidance.

🔹 What if it doesn’t work?
Check that the plug is properly inserted and the mirror light is on. If it still doesn’t work, please let us know and we will assist you.

The apartments have induction hobs. Please use pots and pans that are induction-compatible.

How to use the hobs:

1. Place an induction pot or pan on the hob.

2. Turn on and select the desired heat level – it heats immediately.

3. Always switch on the kitchen fan while cooking.

4. Child lock: If the hob does not respond, the child lock may be active. Hold the key symbol for a few seconds to unlock.

5. Stove guard: If the hob still does not respond, press the reset button on the stove guard until it beeps, then try again.

⚠ The hobs will only work with induction-compatible cookware.

Please note that not all apartments are equipped with a dishwasher. If your apartment has one, please follow the instructions below.

🔹 How do I use the dishwasher?

Instructions:

1. Turn on the water supply
   Before starting, make sure the water supply to the dishwasher is turned on.
   The valve for the water supply is usually located on the main kitchen tap and should be turned to the left (open position).
   Please note that the design may vary between apartments.
   You can tell the water is on when you hear water flowing into the machine after starting a program.

2. Use the correct detergent
   You may use either a dishwasher tablet (provided upon arrival) or dishwasher powder.
   As part of our welcome kit, we provide a couple of dishwasher tablets at check-in.
   After that, guests are responsible for refilling their own supplies during the stay.
   ⚠ Do not use liquid dish soap, as it can cause an unwanted “foam party” both inside and outside the dishwasher.

3. Select the correct program
   Choose the program that best suits your dishes, press start, and let the machine do the rest.

Tip:
Leave the door slightly open after the cycle to allow moisture to escape and help the machine dry faster.

None of our apartments are equipped with air conditioning (A/C).
The buildings have natural and/or mechanical ventilation systems to maintain airflow.

During warmer months, we recommend:

• Airing out the apartment in the morning and evening when it’s cooler.

• Keeping windows and curtains closed during the day to block out heat.

• Using a table or floor fan, if available in your apartment.

For extra cooling, you can place a bowl of ice water in front of a fan to create a refreshing airflow.
