🚇 Metro – Alternative route

• Take the Airport Express (Flytoget) or Vy Train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S).

• Change to the Metro (T-bane) – any line 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 heading towards Majorstuen.

• Exit at Majorstuen Station.

• From there, walk about 15 minutes to Eilert Sundts gate 52.

From Majorstuen, follow Kirkeveien south and turn left onto Eilert Sundts gate.

MAYA Apartments offers fully contactless check-in – you do not need to meet anyone upon arrival.
All necessary details and your personal door codes are sent to you either by e-mail or SMS, the day before or on the day of arrival.

How to Check In:

1. You will receive your address, apartment number, door codes, and step-by-step instructions for entering the building and apartment.

2. The door codes are automatically activated from the check-in time.

3. Follow the instructions provided for your specific apartment/address.

4. Wi-Fi details and practical information are also included in your check-in instructions.

Important:
Please make sure your contact details (e-mail and phone number) in the booking are correct.
It is the responsibility of the person who made the booking to forward the check-in information to the guest staying in the apartment.

We do not offer private guest parking. However, there are public street parking spaces and several parking garages close to the apartment. Some areas may have time limits or parking fees, especially during evenings and weekends. Payment can often be made via apps such as EasyPark or Parkopedia for convenience. If you would like assistance in finding available parking garages near the apartment you have booked, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yes, towels, bed linen, and final cleaning are included in your stay.

Pets are generally not allowed, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Yes, the tap water in Norway is safe to drink. It comes from clean natural sources, and it is regularly tested to maintain high quality.

Do I need to buy bottled water?

No, there is no need to buy bottled water. Tap water in Norway is fresh, safe, and free. Many people actually prefer it over bottled water.

What does it taste like?

Norwegian tap water is known for being very clean and fresh, often with a neutral taste because it comes from lakes and mountain reservoirs.

Is it safe for children?

Yes, tap water in Norway is safe for everyone, including children and infants.

Shared Laundry Room

We do not have washing machines in the apartments. However, we offer shared laundry room, which is located in the basement.

Use door code *2334 and follow the signs.

You will find two washing machines, two dryers, and ironing facilities.

A drying rack can be provided upon request.

- Please beware that we do not offer washing detergent. All guests have to bring their own.

Yes, all our apartments have a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Please note: Hair dryers are not provided at Kasjotten, Skjettenveien 44.

🔹 How do I make it work?
Plug the cable into the socket above the mirror, and make sure the mirror light is turned on. Then switch on the main button on the hair dryer. Please see the attached image for guidance.

🔹 What if it doesn’t work?
Check that the plug is properly inserted and the mirror light is on. If it still doesn’t work, please let us know and we will assist you.

None of our apartments are equipped with air conditioning (A/C).
The buildings have natural and/or mechanical ventilation systems to maintain airflow.

During warmer months, we recommend:

• Airing out the apartment in the morning and evening when it’s cooler.

• Keeping windows and curtains closed during the day to block out heat.

• Using a table or floor fan, if available in your apartment.

For extra cooling, you can place a bowl of ice water in front of a fan to create a refreshing airflow.
